While new plant releases often highlight flowering or colorful foliage, plant breeders are improving form and function, too. In this session we will take a look at some newer releases that address some common concerns like deer resistance and the desire to use more native plants in landscapes. Alternatives to invasive varieties, disease resistant options, and best cultural practices will be addressed.
