Honoring Excellence in Leadership and Professionalism

The Landscape Contractors Association is now accepting nominations for our 2025 Special Awards! We’re excited to celebrate the exceptional leadership, emerging talent, and professionalism within the green industry. Know someone who fits the bill? Submit a nomination today! Nominations are due September 12. New this year is the LCA Industry Partnership Award.

 

We are seeking nominations for the following awards:

 

  • LCA Landscape Leadership Award: Recognizing past presidents who have demonstrated exceptional leadership, mentoring, and commitment to LCA and the landscape industry throughout their careers.
  • LCA Emerging Professional of the Year Award: Celebrating an LCA member with at least five years in the green industry who has shown exemplary professional accomplishments, leadership, and dedication to advancing the profession.
  • J. Landon Reeve IV Annual Landscape Professionalism Award: Honoring an LCA member who consistently demonstrates the highest level of professionalism, quality, and customer care in the Maryland, DC, and Virginia region.
  • NEW! LCA Industry Partnership Award: Honoring an LCA member company or individual supplier or industry partner whose collaboration and commitment have meaningfully advanced the landscape profession. This award recognizes exceptional service and support that elevate industry standards and contribute to long-term success in the region.

 

 Winners will be announced at the 2025 Annual Networking Dinner and Awards Celebration.

 

2024 award winners were:

  • Emerging Professional of the Year: Jonathan Gosnell, Owner, Aspire Landscape Group

  • Landscape Leadership Award: Bernie Mihm, Founder/Partner, Landscape Architect, Fine Earth Landscape

  • J. Landon Reeve IV Annual Landscape Professionalism Award: Chris Vedrani, President, Planted Earth
