Kerry Scott, Program Manager and H2 specialist at Más Labor Kerry is Program Manager for MAS Labor, based in Lovingston, Virginia, the country’s largest supplier of H-2A and H-2B legal guest workers. MAS provides H-2 services in 46 states and in virtually every eligible agricultural and non-agricultural sector from apiculture to viticulture; landscaping to hospitality. Kerry originally made farm calls for MAS; advising clients on how to stay in compliance with the highly regulated H-2A program. Kerry’s responsibilities now include business development for MAS, reporting directly to the owners of the company. This work has him exhibiting and speaking to agricultural and horticultural groups all over the country. Recent participants have credited Kerry as being the first speaker to leave them truly understanding the H-2A program.
Craig Regelbrugge, AmericanHort
Craig Regelbrugge is Senior Vice President of AmericanHort, the national trade organization representing the horticulture industry’s breeders, nursery and greenhouse growers, garden retailers, interior, and exterior landscape professionals, and product and service suppliers. He leads the industry’s advocacy and research programs.
Regelbrugge serves in national leadership positions representing the horticulture industry on matters relating to the labor force, plant health, and trade. He co-chairs the Agriculture Coalition for Immigration Reform, and is on the board of the National Immigration Forum’s “America Is Better”. He also serves as immigration committee chairman of the National Council of Agricultural Employers.
In 2016, Regelbrugge represented the agriculture industry on a bi-national U.S.-Mexico working group convened by the Center for Global Development that examined novel approaches to facilitating labor mobility. The working group published a widely cited report titled Shared Border, Shared Future.
Regelbrugge received his undergraduate degree in horticulture from Virginia Tech, and he worked in the nursery industry and served as a county horticultural extension agent in Virginia before joining the trade association community in December, 1989.
He is a frequent presenter, author, and spokesperson on topics relating to the workforce and immigration, production, trade, and environmental issues impacting farmers and small businesses in and connected to the horticulture industry.
Michael Martin,Live Green Landscape Associates, LLC
Michael Martin is the president and owner of Live Green Landscapes. A pillar in the landscape industry for more than 33 years, Michael founded Live Green in 2008. He graduated from Penn State University with degrees in agriculture and horticulture. He is a past president of LCA, is the current treasurer of the Building Congress and Exchange, and sits on the board for the American Landscape Institute. Michael is an avid tennis player and enjoys skiing and traveling in addition to spending time with his family.
