All, as an NALP member who is interested in developments related to H-2B, I wanted to make sure you are among the first to know of a couple of important advocacy events. First, on Wednesday May 4 at 1:30 pm (EST) NALP will be holding the advocacy focused webinar H-2B: Accomplishments, Challenges, and What’s on the Horizon. During the session, I will be joined by H-2B Workforce Coalition co-chair Laurie Flanagan to provide participants with an overview of what we have done and will be doing to advocate for your interests on H-2B to members of Congress, the Agencies charged with running the program, and the media.
The webinar will serve as a precursor to an NALP driven fly-in for all industries that have a stake in the H-2B Workforce Coalition. The fly-in will occur on Wednesday May 18 and more information regarding logistics will be provided during the webinar.
Thanks again for your membership and your interest in NALP advocacy efforts related to preserving and improving the H-2B seasonal guest worker program. Your involvement in our grassroots advocacy efforts is greatly appreciated and vitally important. I hope you are able to join us for both events, and please let me know if you have any questions!
